RemindMeLater

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 9, 2026

RemindMeLater ("the app") is built to keep as little data as possible. This page explains exactly what is and isn't collected.

Your reminders stay on your device

Every reminder you create — its title, notes, due date, icon, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server-side database of your reminders. Nothing is synced or backed up to us.

Voice and text used to create a reminder

If you type a title or use the microphone to speak a reminder, that text (or its on-device transcription) is sent once to our server so it can be turned into a structured reminder (a title, date, and suggested icon) using a third-party AI provider. That text is used only to generate the response — it is not stored on our server afterward and is not linked to you or your device in any way.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase/subscription identifier so the app can check whether you have an active subscription — see RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how they handle that.

Notifications and widgets

Reminder notifications and the home screen widget are generated entirely on your device using the reminders already stored there. No reminder content is sent anywhere to make notifications or widgets work.
